Mariso is using LR approved welding procedures/materials/personnel to recondition piston rod and restore it to the original dimensions. The hardness of piston rod after heat treatment reaches 400HRB which enables the piston rod to have strong wearability.

Major reconditioning procedures: 

• Pre-machining, gouging damages or cracks
• Building up cut-off of damages or cracks by welding
• Magnetic particle test of piston rod to verify surface defects.
• Final machining
• Heat Treatment
•  Final grinding and polishing of the piston rod to standard tolerances
